do you know that with photographers they can be separated in 2 groups, those that photograph sky a lot and those that don't. I belong in the former, but with you i don't find that so clear. the last pictures have a lot of sky but then those further below, it's always different with you. head in the sky...feet on the ground

i didn't know that about photographers, but it explains why my friend don, who is a photographer, makes fun of my sky pictures. his are almost all of objects other than the sky.

my explanation for the fact that i take pictures of everything is one you've heard before: i'm not a photographer, just someone who sees things better by trying to make a record of them.

my task now, as the snow melts, will be to post photos of each kind of wildflower as they appear in succession.

since my head resides in the clouds I really appreciate the view down there from either lens....

i should think every way of recording something is good whatever it is whether it is photographing or just not...

however, i am not sure how strong this rule is about the photorgaphers and the clouds, but more often than not you really an divide people into those groups, if one is into dividing, that is...

wilfdlowers are good, so youre concentrating on the ones that emerge now or the dry wilted ones? this is nice too for winter really reveals their structures.

first i want to record the succession of wildflowers. but you're right, stripped by the winter, there are marvelous forms waiting for discovery.
