Okay, I said I had made the last wildflowers post. But it wouldn't be right not to include these very latest blooms, now would it? This is an aster, I think, but I'm not sure what species.

we have those too in the garden, here they call them michaelmasdaisies which is a nice name and i am torn of throwing them out, on the one hand they flower late in year when not much else flowers on the other they really take over....
